Being an Artist

John The artist, Behind those iconic glasses, a pair of

dark eyes cover the mind in his head, the mind of a legend.

His artistic cogs at work turning in his mind as he writes 

timeless songs, invents with iconic albums, writes two great

books, and illustrates them in his own unique style. A true 

Artist. There are those who say the beatles were handed their

career on a plate and became famous over night. These people

dont really know much at all. They all worked for years night 

after night in Hamburg and toured England trying to make a 

name for themselves. Being an artist myself (even though its not

the same kind of art) i know all to well how hard it is to get 

started in the world of art. Music, or visual art its all hard. If 

your a painter, how do you make people interested in your art?

An illustrator, how do you get people wanting your work?

An actor? A musician? A lot of people try for years and  years,

or even most of their lives without any luck at all. But in this 

era of cheap art prints in Ikea and on ebay, and the radio's playing

one direction and teen pop music, is a true artist even really

appreciated anymore? Or have we lost it forever? 

I don't know how it will end up, and but i know that its important

to keep people like John Lennon alive in the memories of 

people, a true artist and a true musician! 

 

 Scarecrow Crazy!

At the moment just outside the lovely town of Ringwood

in the south of England In the beautiful village of 

Bisterne Scarecrow Festival! Its been going for years and

years. And for the past 7 years i have been visiting it!

I have taken some photos of this years entries that i saw on

Friday 28th Aug!

Ok So first we have this massive minion masterpiece! 

Maybe even a little be like the Sgt Pepper album

cover? Or is that just me that see's that? 

Crowella De Vil! I can actually see a lot more

detail in this scare crow then i saw on the day 

thanks to the photos i took! That goes for most of

them!

Shrek! and donkey! Again like this one i never saw

the donkey on the day!! Lol 

More minions, This time made with hay!

I read somewhere that this years theme was celebrity?

I might be wrong, but i think it was, Well how are these

scarecrows dancing round a maypole anything to do with

celebrity? 

Darts scarecrow, throwing the worlds thickest darts! lol 

The last 5 photos are all from the same house! They

had so many scarecrows that they take up 5 photos!

It seems when im outside this house taking photos i'm

never ever alone, there are always people taking photos

of this set of scarecrows, more then any others!

Hey bales pretending to be scarecrows now wooden 

trains? Well either way im not going to judge what

they are built of, as long as they are nice! 

Hey that scarecrow reminds me of a guy who was 

also taking photos when i was! haha

Awh how sweet... 

He reminds me of someone? 

An interactive scarecrow? Thats a first!

Now we have a minion made of tiers!

Minions are everywhere!!

 

This really isn't a scarecrow at all but i really love it!

I might even turn it into a illustration one day? 

Who knows? 

Cilla Black Scarecrow? a couple of years ago these people

made an Amy Winehouse one? Is there a pattern emerging? 

Another Minion! What????!!! Come on now!! 

Really traditional scarecrows! Love them!

Beatle Week 2015

YES! That right, its here again Beatles week, And how

i wish i could go! And how i wish i could go and 

enjoy the great music great city and the beatles stuff 

for sales! (Come on there is going to be a lot of beatles 

stuff for sale its beatle week after all) I'd love to go there

and stay in the Hard Days Night Hotel! I want to take my 

girl with me! And that would be amazing, cos i know how 

much she would love it to.  But we would end up getting 

in so much debt! Come on you cant let two beatlemaniacs go

to beatles week and not expect them to spend every penny they 

have!

The Egyptian Royal Family

Nefertiti is maybe one of the most famous Egyptians 

ever! Her husband the Pharaoh Akhenaten was the

first person in history to believe in ONE god and not 

worship a whole group of gods. They changed the face

of Egypt, build a new kingdom and made a million enemies!

They clearly loved each other like no other documented 

couple before them. But were they more then husband and

wife and king and queen? Many people believe they were

closely related,  being either half siblings or just full 

brother and sister. So i have used these photos of them both,

and i have faded them together to show just how similar 

they really do look...

I love them both. Whoever designed and painted 

these vans is a very talented artist. I love them. 

now what one do i like more? Hmmmmmm, that's hard.

But i'm going to say i prefer the top one more then

the bottom one. Just because i like any car or van painted

like that. And have for years now. Also just a little 

something else to add while i'm on the subject for painted

vans and cars.... In the Musical 'across the universe' there

is a rooftop scene, and in the street below as they pan across

there is a Porsche that is painted all psychedelic! And i loved

that to!

The House of Beatles

Ok so i found this photo on facebook once. Im guessing i spend maybe

to much time on there? Anyhow i found this, and i believe it

is a beatles museum somewhere... BUT in my opinion this 

would make a wondering room at home. With the Sgt Pepper jackets,

and the massive fake album sleeve! Wow! Imagine if you were 

lucky enough to buy a massive house? Each room could be a different 

beatles era? their costumes in it, a other beatles stuff? Or each room 

could be dedicated to a different album? I'd love it. 

LDR

 Ok so i first let me just say i hate it when people write LDR!

And i have no idea' why would have to put the word long distance

in there anyways? Its a relationship if the other person is on the other 

side of the world, or if she/he is in the house next door? Surly?

Plus these days with things like skype and instant messaging its

nearly as good as being with them. But of course its not as good as 

being able to hold their hand, hug them when they are sad, 

or kiss them good morning. Its not easy at all to be honest. 

But fell for her and i knew it wouldn't be easy, but the miles are no

match for that smile. When i look at her on webcam and she 

gives me that smile a smile no photo could ever do justice to, i know, 

shes some very special. She has talked to me everyday we have known

each other and for hours and hours a day! It is amazing how she is, 

so caring and sweet, loving and kind. She is always there for me, 

and i think she is really amazing! And for those who say "all Long 

distance relationships are doomed to fail" Well that's just stupid. 

As i said its not easy, and it is very very hard some days, just 

wanting to be with them and you can't be! But it doesn't matter 

because for ever hard day, there are a hundred great days. 

I am going to just say for the record. I AM PROUD to be in this

long distance relationship and i love this girl more then i'll ever

even be able to put into words.

What If

What if Lennon Lived? What would have happened?

With rumors of him and Yoko divorcing in the future (if he 

hadn't been shot) and him returning to touring, visit England,

and even a possible Beatles reunion! Would he have done these 

things? Would the beatles have made THE BIGGEST come back

EVER in music history? Could they have even matched the rolling

stones? And kept touring? Or would they have just done studio Work?

Its hard to think, cos there are a million ways it could have gone! 

Sadly we wont know but with photo shopped photos like this it is 

easier to imagine what it might have been like.
